Luca Keiser holds an M.A. in Computational Social Science (2023). His expertise lies at the intersection of computer science and social sciences, with a special focus on quantitative analysis methods and data-driven research.
His professional experience encompasses both academic and applied roles. From 2024 to 2026, he worked as a Data Scientist at gfs.bern, where he specializes in data preparation, analysis, and visualization.
Previously, he gained extensive experience as a research assistant in various research projects. Among other roles, he worked with Prof. Dr. Gabriel Abend (2021–2024) on the project “Artificial Intelligence and Moral Decision-Making in Contemporary Societies”. Additionally, he served as a student research assistant on projects related to global corporate networks (Dr. Bernd Wurpts) and augmented reality (Prof. Dr. Reto Hofstetter).
His current position at the University of Basel allows him to further develop his methodological skills in the field of quantitative social research.
