Joscha Friton, M.A., is a doctoral candidate in the SNF project “The World of Modernization Theory” at the Department of Sociology at the University of Basel. He studied philosophy at the University of Leipzig and completed his master's degree in History, Philosophy, and Culture of Science at the Ruhr University Bochum in 2024. In his doctoral project, he is investigating international social science associations in the context of decolonization.
